So I realized that some of you super ambitious and crafty people may want to learn how to make a money lei rather than someone else to make one for you. Therefore I have decided to make a series DIY’s for you.
First up is “How To Make a Butterfly Money Lei”…
Materials needed:
- Satin Green Fabric
- Pen
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Candle
- Lighter
- Ribbons
- $1 bills (or use whatever denomination you would like)
Some other fun ideas to go with this…
- Use different bills from around the world
- This is especially fun for someone who is a money collector
- Perhaps they are going to another country on vacation, service project, for school, or on a mission. I’m sure the money will come in handy
- Using different colored money will give the butterflies and lei more color and personality
